Dr. K. R. YOGANATHAN, Principal of the College, with a great desire to serve the Students community, started his career as Lecturer in the year 2002. He holds B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in 2001 and M.E. Degree in Structural Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in 2004. He was awarded with his Doctorate Degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2018.

             He has taught Engineering students at the Undergraduate and the Postgraduate levels for more than 18 years and has more than 10 years of Industrial experience including various positions in the Construction field. He has guided many students of UG and PG projects. His research interests include Repair & Rehabilitation of structures, Concrete Technology. He has wide subject knowledge in Surveying, Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures, Steel Structures etc. He has been involved in various Civil Engineering Consultancy projects, valuing more than 50 Crores. He has involved in various Industry-Institute collaborative programs.

             He has published many papers in Journals and conferences at National and International levels till date. He has acted as Resource Person and Session Chair in many reputed International conferences worldwide.          He has organized and participated in many Conferences, Seminars, FDPs and Workshops. He is a Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, Professional Engineer of Engineering Council of India, Committee Member in Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (ACCI), Madurai. He is a life member of Association of Madurai Civil Engineers. He has led a team of dedicated faculty members having vast academic, research, consultancy programs.
